Filming Changes

During our polaroid filming on the 27th, we decided to change one of the locations while we were filming. Initially, we were going to take a polaroid shot of our actress, Charlotte, outside of some school gates. The idea behind this was to portray her youthful innocence and make the audience eventually feel sympathy for her - she 's still a child that has her whole life ahead of her. However, we decided to change this to a local church that we walked past when shooting a different polaroid shot. The reasoning behind the switch was that we all felt a church would better elicit sympathy from the audience. We thought this because a church connotes worship and faith and is typically attended with family or friends, this would portray Charlotte's character as a dedicated girl with good/close family and friend ties. Below, I have inserted a picture of the school gates that we were going to use and the church that we decided to use.
